    Cheap 3D Printer too good to be true

    An affordable 3D printer is at the top of every hobbyist and enthusiasts wish list. For a couple nail biting days, it looked like it might actually become a near future reality. Through a Kickstarter project, Mota promised to produce units for a double-take price of $99. Having raised almost $65,000 in only a few days, the co-founder of the company Kevin Faro pulled the project from Kickstarter on July 9.

    GM installs wireless charging pads in the new Cadillacs

    Over three years ago, GM announced plans to introduce wireless charging stations for your mobile phones. The device installed would be provided by Powermat, a wireless charging equipment designer. But the concept never came to be, until now. The 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe and sedan will come with the Powermat wireless charging technology.

    Microsoft shakes things up

    Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella states, "...we made the decision to evolve the Windows business model. Now, Windows licenses are $0 for any OEM building a device less than 9 inches. We also added a low cost Windows offering with Bing integration for OEM. This new offering combine with lower hardware spec means OEMs will bring a fantastic line up of value based notebooks and tablets to the markets this holiday."
