Microsoft Might Have a Home Run!

This might just be what puts a spring back into Internet Explorer - getting rid of it. Yes, I know, before everyone gets heartbroken, they only dropped the name. For a while, they were calling it Spartan, and there was a lot of rumor stating that Spartan would be the official name. Alas, Microsoft got a little "creative" and in turn called it "Microsoft Edge".

Microsoft has done a one up, and basically asked for your input on how to make Windows. They figured they couldn't figure it out on their own, so the users must be right and maybe it's time to start listening to the people actually using the software. With the bungle of Windows 8, and the not so fixed "fix" of Windows 8.1, Windows 9 won't even be needed.

GM installs wireless charging pads in the new Cadillacs

Over three years ago, GM announced plans to introduce wireless charging stations for your mobile phones. The device installed would be provided by Powermat, a wireless charging equipment designer. But the concept never came to be, until now. The 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe and sedan will come with the Powermat wireless charging technology.

Microsoft shakes things up

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella states, "...we made the decision to evolve the Windows business model. Now, Windows licenses are $0 for any OEM building a device less than 9 inches. We also added a low cost Windows offering with Bing integration for OEM. This new offering combine with lower hardware spec means OEMs will bring a fantastic line up of value based notebooks and tablets to the markets this holiday."
